SSC – CGL 2016
Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2016 (Tier -I) on Sunday the 8th & 22nd May,2016 and if necessary, on subsequent Saturdays/ Sundays, in different batches, for selecting candidates for Tier – II examination
- Tier-1 Written Exams to be conducted on 8 & 22th May, 2016.
- Tier-2 Exam to be held on 13 & 14th August.

ELIGIBILITY
- Statistical investigator:
- Age should not exceed 32 years
- Degree in any discipline with statistics as one of the subject OR any degree with 60% maths in std.12
- Compiler:
- Must have completed bachelors degree in economics or statistics
- All Other Posts:
- Must have completed bachelors degree from a recognized university (pass in degree) as on August 1, 2016
- Aged between 18 – 27 years (Age Relaxation : max age for OBC – 3 yrs, SC/ST – 5yrs, PH – 10 years (refer notice for detailed limits)
- Assistant Audit Officer:
- Bachelor`s degree & those with Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics are desired.

Tier-1 : Written Exam (Objective Multiple choice questions).

Consists of three different papers/subjects and depending upon the category
of posts applied, the candidates have to appear in two or three papers.

- Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts.
- Paper-III is compulsory only for those candidates who apply for the posts of Statistical Investigators Group II & Compiler.

Tier-3 :
INTERVIEW
- Personality Test/ interview will carry a maximum of 100 marks.
- Candidates applying for Auditor, Accountant, UDCs, Tax Assistant, and Compiler are not required to appear for an interview.
SKILL TEST
- Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) for post of Assistant in CSS only.
- This test is of qualifying nature and has components of Word Processing, Spread Sheets and generation of slides.
Skill Test is applicable for the post of Tax Assistants (Central Excise and Income Tax). To qualify, one should score Data Entry Speed Skill Test at 2000 (two thousand) key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes.
