Pronoun: Pronoun:- Pronoun is a word used in the place of a noun in order to avoid repetition of the word
Types of pronoun: – Personal pronoun: – Words used in place of nouns referring to persons, things, animals. It refers to the following
First person à I, we, me, mine
Second person à You, your and yours
Third person à He, she, it, they etc.
Ex :- (i) I am a boy (ii) They are boys.
2. Demonstrative pronoun: – It is used to points out objects. Ex. This, that, these, those etc.
Ex :- (i) This is a cow. (ii) That is your house.

3. Relative pronoun: – It is related to who whom who’s which that etc.
Ex :- (i) She is the girl who met me yesterday
(ii) This is the shirt that I like much.
4. Interrogative pronoun: – It is used for asking question.
Ex. Who, what , who’s, which, whom etc. Ex:– (i) Who is that boy? (ii) What is your name?
5. Indefinite pronoun: – It refers to show and indefinite or an uncertain number of people animals or things. Examples: Everybody, somebody, nobody, someone, no one, anyone, everything, all, some, any.
Ex:– (i) Somebody has come to meet you. (ii) I want some water.
6. Reflexive pronoun: – It is used for emphasize
Myself, ourselves, himself, themselves, yourself.
Ex:– (i) I cook myself. (ii) You do your homework yourselves.
7. Distributive pronoun: – It refers to one at a time. None, any, no one, either, neither, each. Ex:– (i) None has come to meet you. (ii) Neither of the two boys has come.
8. Reciprocal pronoun: – It is used for mutual relationship
Each other (For 2 people), one another (More than 2 people)
Ex:– (i) We respect each other. (ii) They love one another.
9. Possessive Pronouns :- The Pronoun used to show possession is called a possessive pronoun. mine, ours, yours, hers, his, theirs
Ex:- (i) This book is mine. (ii) These are ours.
(iii) This saree is hers. (iv) That book is yours.
Note :- इनमे सिर्फ His एक ऐसा शब्द है जो Possesive Pronoun भी है और Possesive Adjective भी

10. Emphatic Pronouns :- Myself, ourselves, yourself, yourselves, herself, himself, itself and themselves are called emphatic pronouns when they are used for the sake of emphasis.
Ex:- (i) He himself said so. उसने स्वयं (खुद) ऐसा कहा
(ii) She herself liked him. उसने स्वयं (खुद) उसे पसंद किया
